Region(s):The Contractor shall develop a plan which explores management approaches and strategies to ensure the project corridor performs at an optimal level for all users and improves the functionality of the entire arterial transportation network. The corridor plan shall describe the corridor’s characteristics, foreseeable development and impacts, and opportunities for mitigation of adverse conditions. The plan shall utilize data to identify corridor projects and strategies that will support the goals and objectives of the area. The plan shall include progress monitoring and assessment criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of the plan’s implementation.
more >The Contractor shall provide professional design engineering services to explore alternative transportation corridors and networks to improve safety, mobility, resiliency, and economic vitality for Alaskans traveling between Anchorage and the Matanuska Susitna Valley, and destinations to the North and East. These services may include: data collection and review, origin-destination analysis, traffic forecasting, and agency and stakeholder involvement.
